Scrunchies is a post-everything rock n roll trio from Minneapolis, MN that brings a loud & energetic live set, recalling the messy and cathartic energy of late-80s grunge, art rock, and post-punk bands with heavy and melodic songs and surrealistic lyrics. They have toured extensively and have played with bands such as Screaming Females and Otoboke Beaver, and recently toured with Built to Spill.
Their upcoming album, Colossal, is Scrunchies' third LP. It was recorded by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio in Chicago and mastered by Greg Obis at Chicago Mastering Services. Colossal will be released summer 2024 on Learning Curve Records.
